Pete Tong to bring Ibiza Classics to Cannock Chase
From Ibiza to Cannock, find out when Pete Tong will be taking to the woodland stage.
DJ Pete Tong has announced he will be performing in four venues next summer, to celebrate almost 10 years since his number 1 album release, with Cannock Chase hosting one of his woodland performances.
The world famous House and Electronic DJ, launched his Ibiza Classics tour 2015 and has since entertained 750,000 fans worldwide.
The events hosted by Forest Live, will run from June 19 with the DJ appearing in Cannock Chase Forest on June 24. Support acts such as Sam Divine and Gina Breeze will also be taking to the woodland stage.
Looking ahead to the shows, Pete Tong shared his excitement.
“I’ve been incredibly lucky to have performed at some stunning venues around the world and next summer’s Forest Live shows will undoubtedly be very special.
“Taking the Ibiza classics from the clubs to the forests will be surreal and magical,” said the famous DJ.
The events are running in collaboration with Forestry England, a government organisation that manages and cares for 1,500 woods and forests. The money the event will generate will be used to to maintain these natural areas and to keep growing trees.
Other dates include Thetford on June 19, Delamere Forest on June 20 and Westonbirt Arboretum June 26 with tickets for all Forest Live venues on sale from 10am this Friday.
