New menu full of value and great food unveiled at Stafford pub

A popular brewery chain has unveiled a new menu at one of its Staffordshire My Locals pubs, full of deals on food and drink.

Davenports said the Butler’s Bell in Stafford town centre now has a menu with generous meal and drink deals offered from breakfast through to dinner, many also including a free drink.

Katie McPhilimey, brand and marketing director at Davenports, said: “The rising costs that everyone faces has meant we have had to think long and hard about this new menu, to ‘up the ante’ in terms of value for our customers.

“From an unlimited hot drink with a great priced large breakfast through to our meal deals which often include a branded drink free of charge, right through to ‘Buy One Get One Free’ on fish dishes on a Friday and two selected main meals for just £8 each on Saturday and Sunday, this menu is priced so that eating out makes ‘great sense’.”

The new menu includes pub classics, as well as small plates and even a ‘bespoke branded Carling burger’ which is exclusive to My Locals.

Other offers include a jacket potato, a hearty mixed grill, scampi and chips and light lunches, and even a chippy tea platter that is more than enough for two to share.

To celebrate its launch, The Butler’s Bell is also offering 25 per cent off food only, excluding meal deals and other promos, until further notice.

Ms McPhilimey said: “We’ve worked incredibly hard to maximise both flavour and value not just across food, but our drinks offers too with a four-pint pitcher of Carling at just £12 available across Saturday and Sunday, which is perfect for enjoying with friends and sport which is always shown across our giant TV screens.

“Value is planned into every day of the week: Monday to Thursday you can enjoy a free drink, be that a pint of Carling or Madri, a glass of wine or G&T with a Hunters Chicken for example, and a free drink with any burger on a Wednesday; Thursday, usually ‘date’ or ‘mates’ night, and we call it Grill Night, so we will be serving up two rump steaks for just £10 each.

“It’s great value to dine with kids too, as they enjoy two courses for £2.50 when dining with an adult purchasing a main meal.

“We’ve ensured that whatever day you decide to join us, be it for sport, free live entertainment, meal with the family or to break up the week with friends, we have a great value offer as a backdrop to that visit.”
