South Staffordshire pub may live again as it looks for new landlord
A pub which has laid dormant and decaying for more than a year could be set to reopen as it goes on the market.
A Wombourne pub which once welcomed in families for meals and locals for drinks and games could be set to reopen after laying decaying and dormant.
The New Inn has been closed since the end of September 2024, having been a large and comfortable open-plan pub with built in bench pods. loud music playing and games machines in the bar.

The outside of the pub has a shabby look, with several letters missing from the name of the pub, while the grass outside is uncut and the car park is used by people accessing the nearby dentists and hair dressers.
It has now gone back on the market for a new licensee, with commercial property experts Johnson Fellows putting the lease on sale for £100,000 and saying that “the property comprises the former New Inn arrange over ground, first floors, beer garden, and car park.”
