Can you open your home to Lord Beans III?

A chunky ginger cat with a rather posh name is searching for a loving home in the West Midlands.

The RSPCA Worcestershire and Midlands branch is seeking a match for Lord Beans III - an 11-year-old cat, which they describe as “five kilos of pure love.”

He loves snuggles and ‘making biscuits’ on he blanket - but requires a home with no other animals or young children.

In a post on social media, which has gained more than 1,200 likes, the animal rescue charity wrote: “This ginger hunk is over 5 kilos of pure love, and has had 11 long years to perfect his snuggleability

“At Beans’ size, he could easily be an intimidating presence - but from the first moment he flopped down onto his side for belly rubs, we knew he was instead an absolute cuddle-muffin.

“His Lordship isn’t “just a cat” - he is a legendary creature, with a thunderous purr, a vibrant coat, and the most beautiful two-toned eyes Now, yes, we can’t pretend that Beans doesn’t need to lose a bit of weight.

“But while on his regimented diet plan, Beans has promised to try his absolute best to not get hangry and continue to offer the most squishable cuddles imaginable. Beans is good-natured, quiet, and boasts a firm head-bump when he’s looking for attention.

“The rest of the time, he seems content to be pressed against your leg and make tiny biscuits in the blanket. This is a gentleman who loves a duvet day, and we think Beans will be right at home on your sofa, accompanying you while you binge-watch your favourite TV shows.

“Due to his previous history of scraps with other cats and dogs, Lord Beans III would not be happy sharing his kingdom with any other animals, and we also feel he’d best suit a home without young children. This sweet cat has been truly loved in his life, and we want to make sure that his next home is just as good as his first.”

Another added: “Omg I love him. If only my landlord would allow cats.” While a third commented: “He's a gorgeous boy and so friendly. Someone will be very lucky to have him.”
