A man has been charged with possession of a knife in Walsall town centre.
Nilesh Patel, aged 45, of no fixed address, will appear at Dudley Magistrates Court on October 1 charged with possession of a knife.
The news follows an arrest made by West Midlands Police’s St Matthew’s team at Bradford Mall on Monday afternoon (August 17).
PC Kyle Butler, from St Matthew’s Safer Towns Team, said: “Our team is dedicated to making our town centre’s a safe place to work and visit. This was another excellent arrest with a knife taken off our streets.”
