Man charged with going equipped for theft in Sandwell

West Midlands Police were called to Hagley Road, Bearwood, during the early hours of Saturday morning (15 August).
A man has been charged with going equipped for theft after police responded to a report of suspicious activity near vehicles in Sandwell.
West Midlands Police were called to Hagley Road, Bearwood, during the early hours of Saturday morning (15 August).
Officers arrested a 44-year-old man and Mark Holden, from Lancashire, has now been charged with going equipped and failing to provide a sample for a drugs test.
He is due to appear before Dudley Magistrates Court on 1 October.
A 40-year-old man was released with no further action.
