Major Wolverhampton roads temporarily closed due to Severn Trent works taking place this week

Wolverhampton Council has shared that there will be temporary road closures until Friday this week, with works taking place since yesterday (March 16-20). 

These closures will take place on School Road, Mount Road, Church Road & Wood Rd between 8pm-6am only each night, these temporary closures first took place yesterday evening (March 16) and will affect overnight travellers up until March 20th. 

These roads are located in Tettenhall Wood part of Wolverhampton, and form key crossroads intersection. 

Due to these road closures, there could be delays to travel for commuters this morning (17 March). 

As part of these roadworks, School Road has temporarily closes at its junction with Shaw Lane to Wood Road. The reason for disruption cited on Causeway is 'To facilitate lining and patching to repair defects in the sewer line'. 

In addition to this, Wood Road is set to be shut between Teotta Drive & School Road.
