Update on Birmingham New Road lane closure due to emergency gas works
Drivers are being warned of delays after emergency gas works led to a lane closure on Birmingham New Road.

Contractors from Cadent Gas are carrying out
Wolverhampton Council said the closure is expected to remain in place until Wednesday, March 18.
Motorists travelling through the area are advised to allow extra time for their journeys, particularly during busy periods.
The works are part of emergency repairs being carried out by Cadent Gas to maintain the safety of the network.
Drivers are urged to follow any temporary traffic management and signage while the work continues.
