Temporary closure for Wolverhampton road following 'emergency' roadworks
Emergency highway works have forced the closure of a Wolverhampton road.

Wolverhampton Council have announced the closure of a road in the borough due to emergency highways works that are to take place today.
The works mean the closure of Kitchen Lane, outside of Number 400, with a diversion route being put into place.

Traffic will instead follow Kitchen Lane, High Hill, Blackhalve Lane, Wood End Road, Linthouse Lane, and vice versa.
A City of Wolverhampton Council spokesperson said: "Emergency highways works mean a road closure on Kitchen Lane, outside of Number 40, is expected to remain in place today.
"Diversion route: Kitchen Lane, High Lane, High Hill, Blackhalve Lane, Wood End Road, vice versa."
