Road remains closed following opening of Wolverhampton 'sinkhole' as investigations continue
A residential road in Wolverhampton remains closed following the opening of a 'sinkhole'.
Vicarage Road, Wolverhampton, was suddenly closed at its junction with All Saints Road on February 11, following the opening of a 'sinkhole' on the city street.
The sinkhole caused an amount of disruption on the day, with council workers being spotted at the scene to investigate the issue.

At the time, the hole was believed to have been caused by a burst water main, which is maintained by Severn Trent Water, with Wolverhampton council confirming that they were investigating the cause.
