Wolverhampton residents have talked of their shock at the appearance of a 'three-foot-wide' sinkhole near their homes.
Residents living near the junction of Vicarage Road and All Saints Road, Wolverhampton, have spoken of their shock and surprise after a 'three-foot-wide' sinkhole appeared near their houses.
The sinkhole, which residents estimated to be around four-foot-deep, is said to have appeared at around 1.30pm on January 10, leading to road closure at the junction the following day (January 11).

Now, residents have shared their shock at the appearance of the 'three-foot-wide' hole, saying that 'it could have really hurt someone'.
Hardjit Singh, of Clarkes Stores, on the junction of Vicarage Road and All Saints Road, said that he first reported the hole to the council at around 1.50pm on Tuesday night.
