‘Avoid the area’: Fire breaks out in Wolverhampton on a residential street
Firefighters urged people to avoid an area of Wolverhampton last night as they attended a fire on a residential street
West Midlands Fire Service issued a warning to people to ‘avoid the area’ around Wendover Road in Wolverhampton last night (Saturday, January 17) as they tackled a blaze.
The warning was issued at 10.06pm.
Firefighters said they sent four crews to the scene, adding: “Please avoid the area, where possible.”
There has been no update from WMFS since. Police are in attendance at the scene this morning.
