Two cars involved in crash at Walsall's Fingerpost Junction

Police and ambulances have attended the scene of a two-car crash at a Walsall junction.

Emergency services were called to the junction of Norton Road and Wolverhampton Road/Lichfield Road in Pelsall, known as the Fingerpost Junction, following a crash involving two vehicles.

The crash, involving one white car and one black, happened at around 10pm yesterday (March 10).

Two police vehicles and two ambulances were seen to have responded to the crash.

Police diverted traffic away from the junction while work was done to make the scene secure.

John Walton, who was driving through the area shortly after 10pm when he saw the aftermath of the crash, said: "It looked like it was a head-on collision, both of the vehicles looked pretty badly damaged.

"I didn't see any of the patients. I hope they're both okay, though."

Emergency services have been approached for further information.
