Council bosses voted in favour of freezing car park charges for the third year to boost trade.

Stafford Borough Council

Stafford Borough Council's cabinet voted for the 20 short and long stay car parks to remain the same across Stafford and Stone in 2019.

An hour-long stay is set to stay at 60p in Stone and from £1 in Stafford. All the hourly tariffs will stay the same - as will prices for season tickets.

It will be the third year that charges have remained the same which the council say will help support town centre retailers and businesses.

The cabinet meeting was held on Thursday.
