Heroic police dog helps detain kidnapping suspects following incident in Tipton
A heroic West Midlands Police dog has been praised for his part in detaining suspected kidnappers in Tipton.
PD Nero and his handler were responding to reports of a kidnapping in Tipton when the alleged offending vehicle was found in a car park.
Police say four males try to exit the vehicle as approached, but are challenged by Nero and detained.
Numerous weapons were also recovered from the scene.
West Midland Police shared a photo of PD Nero on social media this afternoon (September 28).
The force have since confirmed that the suspects will face no further action on the allegation of kidnapping.
