Cyclist remains critical fortnight on from Tipton collision

A cyclist remains in a critical condition in hospital two weeks after he was hit by a car.

The 39-year-old was hit by the car, in Park Lane East, Tipton, on December 18, at about 4.50pm.

He was taken to hospital where he remained in a critical condition today.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene and is said to be helping police with their inquiries.

West Midlands Police had issued an appeal for witnesses and asked for anyone with dash cam footage to contact them.
