Popular Smethwick bus service is diverted due to road traffic accident
Passengers using a popular bus route are facing diversions after a traffic accident in Smethwick.
The National Express West Midlands 11A and 11C services - between Erdington to Acocks Green and Perry Barr to Acocks Green - are affected following an incident on Sunday(31) in Heath Street near the new Midland Metropolitan University Hospital in Smethwick.
The bus operator posted on X: "@nxwestmidlands service disruption due to an accident on Heath Street, 11A service is on diversion 11A; Lodge Road, All Saints Street, Crabtree Road, Dudley Road to normal line of route. 11C normal line of route."
