Dramatic picture shows late night crash outside Tesco
Dramatic images have been shared online after a car collided with a Tesco Extra building in West Bromwich.
Residents and shoppers in the area reported that the car collided with the building at around 6pm on Sunday, with images from the scene showing a West Midlands Fire Service cordon surrounding the car and the smashed window of the Tesco Extra itself.
Fire service personnel could be seen working at the scene, with residents of the area saying that it 'looked like the car went into the side of the building.'
Charlotte Richardson, who was on her way back from a meal with her family, said on Facebook: "Not sure what is happening up West Brom tonight, but a car looks like it has gone through the side of Tesco.
"There were around four or five vehicles, with police, fire and ambulance all up there."
It is unknown as of yet the circumstances surrounding the incident, however, emergency services and Tesco have been approached for comment.
