The Dudley Hippodrome has now been completely demolished.

Despite campaigners fighting for the Hippodrome's survival, demolition work began in August, and the building has now been completely flattened.

Photographs captured by drone show that the former entertainment venue has been reduced to piles of rubble, with work beginning next year to build a new £25 million university campus on the site.

Worcester University will run a nursing college from the site and will provide university-level courses for the health sector, with a view to opening in September 2025.
