A staff member and a student have both tested positive for Covid-19 – a message from the college confirmed on Monday.

In a message to students and staff, a college spokesman said: "We have two confirmed cases of coronavirus across all Dudley College campuses. One is a student at the Evolve campus, the other is a staff member at the Construction Apprentice Training (CAT) Centre.

"We wish them a swift recovery. All necessary steps to ensure the safety of other learners and staff have been taken.

More Covid-19 coverage:

"We are reporting all cases to Dudley Council and Public Health England and acting on their advice in all matters."
