Three men arrested after £70,000 cannabis grow seized in Birmingham

Three man have been arrested after a large quantity of cannabis was recovered from a property in Birmingham.

West Midlands Police officers from the Operation Skybridge team made the arrests after a van was pulled over on Manor Road, Aston, in the early hours of Monday morning (February 16). 

When the vehicle was searched, officers found and seized around 70 mature cannabis plants, which would carry an approximate street value of £70,000.

Men aged 40, 35 and 33 were arrested on suspicion of the cultivation of cannabis - but have since been bailed pending further enquiries.
