'Limited timetable' on the railways at Birmingham New Street expected later today
A 'limited timetable' is expected to operate out of Birmingham New Street by mid afternoon according to station bosses.
Birmingham New Street tweeted: "Our teams have been working on a number of incidents and we now aim to start a limited timetable from mid-afternoon today
If you're looking to travel to certain destinations, from New Street (BHM), Moor Street (BMO) & Snow Hill (BSW), the status of these are as follows.
Currently, no services can run until further inspections for: BHM to Bromsgrove BHM to Wolverhampton and Manchester BSW to Kidderminster/Worcester BSW to Stratford-u-Avon BSW to Four Oaks only BHM to Walsall and Rugeley
Another update is expected at around 4pm
Meanwhile most trains from or through Wolverhampton have been cancelled in the next hour, though a number through to Birmingham are running, with one delayed. Check the status of trains from Wolverhampton here
