Watch as thousands gather for Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor event for the grand opening of a gold and diamonds outlet in Birmingham
Video footage has shown masses of crowds as Bollywood superstar Kareena Kapoor performed in Birmingham.
Bollywood star and international actress, Kareena Kapoor Khan, visited Birmingham's Soho Road to launch the Malabar Gold and Diamonds showroom this afternoon.
The jewellery outlet, which also opened today, is noted to be Europe's largest 22-carat gold store, with thousands of people turning up to see both the unveiling event and Ms Kapoor Khan.

The actress, who is an ambassador for the Malabar Gold and Diamonds brand, performed at the event, before an on-street celebration was launched along with dozens of cultural performances.
Now, video footage, shared with the Express & Star, by Waqas Roshni, has shown thousands of people flood the streets around Soho Road to catch a glimpse of the international star.
In the video, Ms Kapoor Khan can be seen on stage surrounded by her loyal fans, addressing the crowds after performing, and laughing along with the presenter.
Ms Kapoor Khan is one of Bollywood's biggest names, and is known for her performances in a string of iconic films, including Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Jab We Met, 3 Idiots and Netflix hit Jaane Jaan.
Talking to fans at the time, Kareena said: "Thank you for all the love, Birmingham.
"I came here around 20 years ago to film a show. It's because of your love. Thank you ."
She looked as glamorous as ever as she addressed the crowd, with the video showing an amazing energy on the streets of Birmingham.
