Watch: See historic Banks's Wolverhampton site from above as company ends brewing operation in city after 150 years
New video shows the historic Banks's Brewery site in Wolverhampton days after its final brew - swiftly followed by the news that Carlsberg Britvic is to close its distinctive Marston's House office.
Having stood tall above the Wolverhampton skyline with its iconic chimney, Banks's has been an integral part of the city for more than a century, brewing beer since 1875.
Video by Express & Star photographer Tim Thursfield shows the site this week after the final brew of Banks’s Bitter at the end of August, with the last workers on the site set to leave on September 30.

Also seen in the video is the distinctive Marston's House office which, it was announced on Thursday, is due to close in 2026.
Following a comprehensive review, Carlsberg Britvic announced plans to close its office towards the end of 2026 and move staff over to a new multi-million pound depot which is currently under construction at the new West Midlands Interchange.
