Many were spotted enjoying Wolverhampton’s free outdoor pool on Saturday (30 May) as temperatures remained in the high 20s.
Tettenhall Pool, the free pool in the village of Tettenhall, has been visited by thousands over the past week amid a heatwave.
On the late May bank holiday Monday (25 May), thousands were pictured enjoying the pool as children and families cooled off.
However, there was uproar the day after as litter was pictured strewn across the outdoor facility. One resident told the Express & Star that a lot of rubbish and even soiled nappies were left.
Calm has been restored as the days have passed this week and numbers of those visiting the pool on Saturday had dwindled compared to the late May bank holiday weekend.
But still, many were enjoying the free pool on Saturday. Temperatures are now expected to drop, with rain to hit the region.
