Hundreds take to country park for sweetest run of the year
Hundreds of runners donned their most festive outfits as they took to Chasewater Country Park to take part in this year's festive Pudding Dash.
The annual festive event, organised by the running management group Nice Work, was bigger and better than ever this year.
It saw elves, Santas, Grinches and a whole array of other Christmas characters took part in the 10k event.

The event started at Chasewater's Innovation Centre, with runners taking a short loop around the centre before heading clockwise around the reservoir to cover two laps for the 10k race and one lap for the 5k race.
Prizes this year included bespoke medals for all race finishers and e-certificates with £5 vouchers for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female finishers in both distances.

Talking about the race, Sara-Jane Maurice, 41, said: "It's a great event, it was so much fun. I loved seeing everyone in their costumes and it's just for a good cause.
"It was nice to get to go around Chasewater too, there are worse ways to spend a Saturday that's for sure.

"Funds raised this year were given to Shelter, which helps those living rough on the streets and those who are being affected by the housing emergency.
One group of runners, dressed as inflatable Santas, hoped to raise £5,000 to send a young boy called Noah to Disneyland.
