Hundreds in attendance for Willenhall festive markets

Willenhall town is feeling a little more festive as the town holds its Christmas winter market

Visitors were able to get festive drinks and hot food as they helped spread some Christmas cheer for all of Willenhall to hear.

The festive market, held in Willenhall town centre, saw dozens of Christmas stalls, including crafts, presents and food and drinks, as well as plenty of jolly games for everyone to get involved in.

The event was organised by the Rotary Club in Willenhall, who also organised for Santa to take time out of his busy schedule to meet and greet with children at the nearby Bell Inn.

Pictures from the wintery scene show families enjoying the market as they took part in the free funfair rides and visited the local artists on display.

"A big thank you to Rotary in Willenhall for organising the event which saw free funfair rides for children, Santa at the historic Bell Inn, local artists and Christmas market stalls for all to enjoy.

"We’ve got some fantastic community groups and organisations working tirelessly for the benefit of our town and residents. It’s the community that makes this town special."

The festive market was only one of the jolly events to take place in Willenhall, with another winter fayre taking place around the Willenhall Memorial Bandstand, in Willenhall Memorial Park.

The Memorial Park event saw an array of Children's workshops, a Santa lantern walk and to top it all off, a festive Christmas movie.
