Hospital for crash victims

A crash in Walsall Wood today saw at least two people rushed to hospital.

Emergency services were called to the site of a collision between two cars at the Streets Corner junction of Salter's Road and Lichfield Road, at 11.10am.

Two ambulances took occupants of the vehicles to Walsall Manor Hospital for treatment.

Motorists were caught in hold-ups at the busy junction as police attempted to clear the scene of debris from the accident.
