Norovirus closes ward at Walsall Manor Hospital

Ward 12 has been forced to shut to admissions, transfers and visitors as patients have started showing symptoms of the winter vomiting bug. It is expected to remain closed over the weekend.

Two bays on Ward 3 have also had to close. Anyone wanting to visit that ward are being urged to call the nurse in charge in advance.

There have been two confirmed cases at the hospital with several others showing symptoms.
