Fans urged to get tickets for massive Wolverhampton music festival

Tickets are selling fast for the special winter festival being held in West Park.

Music lovers are being urged to get their tickets for a special music festival taking place in a Wolverhampton park.

The organisers of WV1Fest The Nightmare Before Xmas have put out a message to make sure that people wanting tickets don’t miss out after half of the available tickets were claimed during preregistration for the event on Saturday, December 19 at West Park.

The event has been billed as Christmas with a deliciously dark twist and will bring together world-class tribute acts, festive cheer, and rock-and-roll spirit in a warm and cosy setting under a heated marquee.

Just 1,000 tickets have been made available for the event, which features tribute acts for Slipknot, Limp Bizkit, Iron Maiden, Deftones & System of a Down, as well as festive treats such as Glühwein, hot spiced cider, flavoured hot Jäger, and toasting stations for marshmallows.

There will also be no tickets available on the gate for the event, with all sales being made online prior to the event.

Organiser Jools Taylor said demand has been staggering from the moment pre-registration opened, saying that proved there was a huge appetite for a celebration that blends beloved Christmas warmth with the thunderous power of rock and metal.

He said: “We knew this was something special, but the speed at which tickets have flown out has blown us away.

“To be half sold before general release is incredible. This is shaping up to be our fastest-selling event yet and, with only 500 tickets left, we strongly urge everyone not to delay.

“This will sell out well before December, possibly even within days, so if you want to be there, act now.

“We want as many people to share this special day as possible, but once these tickets are gone, there is simply no more space.”

Tickets start at £26.45 and can be bought at the Nightmare Before Xmas website.
