Extinction Rebellion activists have been spotted on a small strip of green space in Stourbridge.

Campaigners from the environmental activist group, Extinction Rebellion, have been spotted on a strip of green space in Stourbridge near the town centre.
The protestors were seen standing near the side of the road at around 8.30am this morning, with flags and banners being planted on the junction of Greenfield Avenue and Bath Road, Stourbridge, near the entrance to the ring road.
In a short video shared on the Express & Star, campaigners can be seen holding green banners with the 'Extinction Rebellion' logo on them, adorned with the words "Hope Begins With Action".
Another sign, this time showing the globe over flames, reads "stop funding fossil fuels", whilst another reads: "Leave your children the gift of a lifetime. Save the planet."

Extinction Rebellion, also referred to as XR, is a global, decentralised environmental movement that is reported to use non-violent civil disobedience to compel government action on climate change issues.
It is understood that as of the time the video was taken, no road issues were caused by the campaigners.
