Everything we know after air ambulance and emergency services rush to Tesco car park in Staffordshire town
An air ambulance and emergency services raced to a Tesco car park due to an incident.
An air ambulance and emergence services were spotted at Tesco car park in Rugeley, Staffordshire, yesterday morning (Saturday 30 May).
A witness to the incident told the Express & Star that police and emergency services were called to Rugeley Tesco store at around 7:30am.
The witness said it was due to the “episode of a gentleman”, however, this has not yet been confirmed by emergency services.

The witness said: “A doctor was subsequently called via the privately funded Air Ambulance Service, which operates out of offices near RAF Cosford.
“The call was for an episode of a gentleman who the various crews managed to calm down in the rear of the ambulance.
“The side door of the ambulance was kept open while crews dealt with him. The police acted in a very calming and professional way - at one point five police cars were in attendance”.
Chase TV posted of the incident on Facebook at around 9am yesterday morning and later updated to say that the air ambulance had returned to Cosford.
The Express & Star has contacted Staffordshire Police and West Midlands Ambulance Service for more information.
