MB Office Systems Ltd, based on the Rumer Hill Business Estate, is run by 50-year-old Matt Beavon along with seven staff, and he realised the problems many families with children might be facing in helping to keep up with vital learning.

He said: "We supply and service office equipment and I realised that many families were struggling because of difficulties in accessing photocopiers and printers and for those with small printers even the cost of ink cartridges.

"We put details out on the Cannock Chase Coronavirus Network page and produced a flyer for a Facebook page.

"As many as 30 local people have already taken up the offer and so far we have printed more than 6,000 pages.

"I have a 13-year-old son, Alfie, who is home-schooling and I realised the difficulties some people might have and the cost for those with small printers and decided to help them out

"We supply and service photocopiers and printers nationwide and I realised this was a good opportunity to utilise the equipment and help the community.

"There is a difficulty where people need a good quality copy and I am hoping we will be able to help more local people who have to be able to collect their documents."
