Some schools are closed for a third day due to icy conditions - but the majority will reopen after work to clear sites.

Is your child's school shut on Wednesday?

After a weekend of snow and wintry weather battering the West Midlands schools across the Black Country and Staffordshire were left unable to open.

Hundreds of schools were closed for a second day on Tuesday after temperatures plunged to -10C and lower in some areas leading to ice.
