'I want to hear from you': Dudley MP invites constituents to meet her at public event

'Listening to residents is one of the most important parts of my role,' says Dudley MP

A Black Country MP is inviting residents to drop in for a chat about any concerns they may have at a public event at the weekend.

Sonia Kumar, MP for Dudley, will be at the town’s Compton Care shop in the Churchill Shopping Centre from 10am on Saturday (May 30).

Miss Kumar said it would be an opportunity for residents to raise concerns, discuss issues affecting the community, and speak directly with their MP in an informal setting.

“Listening to residents and being accessible to the community is one of the most important parts of my role as Dudley’s MP,” she said.

“Whether people want to discuss local services, cost of living pressures, housing, healthcare, transport or issues affecting our town centre, I want to hear directly from them.

“I’m grateful to Compton Care for hosting this event and for the incredible work they do supporting local people and families across our community.”

People can turn up on the day without an appointment.
