'Help make our final day of worship special' - Congregation to leave Halesowen church for the final time
The minister at a Halesowen church which is shutting its doors for the final time on Sunday has said it is 'Not the end of the journey.'

Alan Combes will lead the final service at Providence Methodist Church, Colley Orchard, in Halesowen at 3.30pm on Sunday.
It is one of 13 Methodist churches on the circuit and the building dates back to 1963, though there has been one on the site since 1925.
Reverend Combes said numbers attending church have been generally declining, particularly since Covid and the building was not sustainable.
But he said the final two services, on Sunday morning and afternoon would be celebrations and a joyous occasion.

He said: "Some of the congregation are starting another group as part of the Lighthouse Christian Community at The Laurels nearby to Providence whilst others will go to alternative churches so it is not the end of their or our journey.
"But Sunday will be a chance for everyone to celebrate almost 100 years of worship on this site and everyone is welcome to join us, friends old and new."
The Sunday morning service will be at 10.20am led by lay pastor Martyn Filsak and the afternoon – and final – service will be conducted by Reverend Combes,
