A bride-to-be has been left devastated after her dreams of being transported to her wedding in a luxury limo were dashed.
Laura Woodhouse has discovered that her booking for two wedding cars has been cancelled without her knowledge - and now she faces a battle to find replacements in just weeks to accommodate her, along with 10 bridesmaids and three pageboys.
Lux Limo bosses claimed that the order for two stretch cars including a Hummer was cancelled by Miss Woodhouse's fiance, Dean Watkins, an allegation which the couple deny.
But she has now been forced to launch a panicked search for new transport for the August bank holiday wedding .
"I'm really starting to panic. I've been phoning around but everyone is saying that because it's a bank holiday it's busier than normal, and they have a limited stock of cars left available," said the 26-year-old mother of two, from Upper Gornal.
"I don't know if I'm going to be able to get anywhere that can cater for so many bridesmaids and the pageboys too."
Lux Limos is based in Rugby and has branches in Dudley, Wolverhampton, Walsall and Stafford.
Miss Woodhouse made her booking with the firm in February, paid a £50 deposit towards the £630 costs and received a confirmation of the reservation.
A spokesman for the firm, after initially denying any involvement with Miss Woodhouse's wedding, later claimed that the booking was cancelled by Mr Watkins "months ago", which the couple deny.
The £50 deposit has now been been refunded to the pair.
Miss Woodhouse met Mr Watkins, aged 31, when he lived near her childhood home in Sedgley.
