Desperate plea to find home for bonded cats who've been in West Midlands foster care for a year

The RSPCA Stafford, Wolverhampton & District Branch say the pair have been waiting for a new home for a year.

An animal rescue charity has issued a desperate plea to find homes for two bonded cats who have been waiting in foster care for a year.

Bono and Bracken are a bonded brother-and-sister pair who have been in foster care with the RSPCA Stafford, Wolverhampton & District Branch since birth.

They are described as playful, curious, and affectionate cats who love chasing each other, playing with toys, and snuggling up together for naps.

And yet, they have been waiting a whole year for a loving home - having also watched their mum and two siblings find loving families.

In a desperate plea on social media, the rescue charity said: “This volunteers week we really want to highlight 2 of our current cats who have been in foster care for nearly a WHOLE YEAR.

“They've seen other cats come and go but it's never been their turn, it's always someone else and to be honest, it's absolutely heartbreaking as they are 2 amazing, friendly, lovely little cats.”

They asked their followers to share their photo in a bid to find them a “a wonderful home” and get the “gorgeous fluffballs the attention they deserve.”

According to the listing, they may need a little time to settle in with new people as they have only known their foster home. Both are neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and are looking for a home together where they can be the only cats.
