A Shifnal man has denied assaulting a woman and sex charges including voyeurism.

Henry Stokes, aged 27, appeared via video link from prison at Shrewsbury Crown Court.

Stokes, of Poplar Street, Shifnal, pleaded not guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm, voyeurism, sexual assault and engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour.
The offences are said to have taken place between January last year and January this year.
Judge Anthony Lowe set a trial date of July 13 this year, with a time estimate of four to five days.
Stokes was remanded in custody.
