'Suspicious' man charged with drug offences after police operation in Dudley

A man is set to appear at court after plain clothed officers out on patrol in Dudley spotted a man acting suspiciously.

Mohammed Khan, aged 22, of Quarry Bank, Dudley, has been charged with producing cannabis.

It follows an arrest by West Midlands Police officers on patrol on Lye High Street on Sunday, February 8 at 7pm.

Officers approached a man and, following searches, recovered cannabis, cash and two phones. They also found drugs hidden inside an electrical box. 

Khan is due to appear at Dudley Magistrates’ Court on 10 March.
