Police arrest man, 21, on suspicion of attempted murder after Sutton Coldfield shooting
Police have arrested a man on suspicion of attempted murder as part of an investigation into a shooting in Sutton Coldfield.
A man in his 20s remains in a critical condition in hospital after being shot in Mount View shortly before 11.30pm on Saturday, January 31.
A woman also sustained minor injuries after a number of shots were fired.
West Midlands Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances, but following enquiries they understand a group of men, who are suspected of being involved, fled on electric bikes.

Police arrested a man aged 21 on suspicion of attempted murder from a vehicle in the Minworth area at around 3am. He remains in custody.
Detective Inspector Francis Nock, from West Midlands Police's major crime unit, said: "A man has been very seriously injured, and we're determined to find out who was responsible for doing this.
"We're working round the clock to establish exactly what happened and we know there will be people who can help us.
“We have already received information as a result of our appeals, but I’d continue to urge anyone who saw what happened or who knows who is involved to get in touch.”
