Two more arrested in connection with murder of 30-year-old Wolverhampton father

Two more people have been arrested in connection with the murder of Jermaine Smith in Wolverhampton.

A 22-year-old man was arrested in the city on Wednesday, November 26 and remains in custody at this time.

A woman in her 30s was also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

West Midlands Police are continuing their investigation after the death of Mr Smith, 30, who was shot in Lilleshall Crescent on October 25.

Eight people have so far been arrested, and the officers investigating remain interested in hearing from anyone who knows more about the circumstances which led up to Mr Smith's death.
