Two men appear in court over Wolverhampton shop thefts
Two suspected thieves are appearing in court today, accused of stealing from shops across Wolverhampton.
The men were arrested in connection with separate offences during two operations running across the city on Tuesday, November 25.
Carl McKeown was arrested from an address in Bushbury on Tuesday morning by West Midlands Police officers from the local neighbourhood team, investigating a string of thefts from local shops across the city.

The 40-year-old was later charged with eights counts of theft from a shop.
Meanwhile, a man was arrested at the Royal London pub in Wolverhampton city centre on Tuesday afternoon by a local priorities team, as part of an investigation into a local theft at a store in Bushbury.
Leon Bailey, aged 43, was later charged with theft from a shop and failing to provide a sample for a Class A drug test. Both men will appear before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court on Wednesday, November 26.
