Police granted more time to question two suspects in connection with Black Country rapes
West Midlands Police have been granted a further warrant of detention for two suspects in connection with the rapes of two women in Sandwell and Dudley.
Two people remain in custody as part of West Midlands Police's investigation into a rape in Hurst Green Park, Halesowen on Thursday, October 16, and another rape on Tame Road, Oldbury on September 9.
A further warrant of detention has been granted for the 49-year-old man and 65-year-old woman, to allow police time to continue their enquiries.

Police say 'both victims are at the heart of the enquiries,' and continue to have specialist officers supporting them during this traumatic time.
The investigations are continuing, and West Midlands Police are appealing to anyone with CCTV, dash-cam footage, or any information to get in touch.
