Staffordshire Police traffic cops stop suspected thief escaping from Wolverhampton with stolen van
Staffordshire Police Road Crime Team prevented a suspected thief escaping from Wolverhampton with a stolen van.
Traffic cops spotted the cloned Ford Connect van on the M54 and after pulling it over realised it was stolen and arrested the driver.
Staffordshire RCT posted on social media: "We managed to locate a cloned Ford Connect on the M54 to M6 S/B. Van stopped at J10 M6 using pre-emptive tactics.
"Checks on the van show it was stolen a few hours prior from Wolverhampton. Driver arrested for theft and handed over to West Midlands Police."
