Three men arrested for drugs offences as crime team continue proactive policing across Birmingham
Three men were arrested on suspicion of drugs offences after they were stopped by police officers as part of a proactive enforcement campaign.
Officers from the West Midlands Police Op Skybridge team were patrolling the Small Heath area of Birmingham on Thursday, when they spotted a suspected drug deal taking place in Herbert Road.
A car was stopped and searches were carried out on the vehicle and two men.
Dozens of wraps of Class A drugs were found, along with large amounts of cash and mobile phones believed to be linked to drug dealing.
Further searches were carried out at addresses, where hundreds of wraps of Class A drugs were found along with more mobile phones.
Three men, aged 18, 21, and 45, were arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.
Op Skybridge officers continue to carry out proactive enforcement across Birmingham, where they target offenders and disrupt crime.
