Police want to speak to this man about assault in Wolverhampton takeaway

An appeal has been launched as part of an investigation into an assault at a takeaway in Wolverhampton.

West Midlands Police has released an image of a man officers want to speak to following the incident on April 30 in which a man was punched "a number of times" at a takeaway on Broad Street in Wolverhampton.

The force has asked for anyone with any information to get in touch as soon as possible.

"We're investigating an assault at a food outlet in Broad Street, Wolverhampton, and want to speak to this young man.

"During the incident on April 30 at around 5am, a 19-year-old man was punched a number of times.

"Enquiries are ongoing and if you know who the person in the image is, contact us on 101 or via Live Chat quoting crime reference 20/195990/25."
