Drink-drive arrest after Christmas Day police chase through the Black Country

A drink-drive suspect has been arrested after a late-night chase in the Black Country on Christmas Day.

Officers stopped the vehicle on Christmas Day.

The driver had failed to stop for officers in Brierley Hill which sparked a 20-minute pursuit by police.

The motorist led the force around Stourbridge before officers stung all four of the vehicle's tyres.

The driver was arrested on suspicion of drink driving, failing to stop, dangerous driving and theft of a motor vehicle.

Force Response officers and dog teams from West Midlands Police were involved in the chase.
