The 14-year-old boy was threatened with a knife and had his bike stolen in St George's Park at around 6.50pm on Wednesday night.

Shortly after, a police community support officer (PCSO) found a person matching the description of one of the suspects – who then ran off scaling two fences in a failed attempt to get away.

One man is now in custody on suspicion of robbery, while another male was found in possession of cannabis.

West Mercia Police said investigations are on-going.

Anyone who witnessed the robbery is asked to call officers on 101, quoting incident number 674S of June 19.
