The deaths of the 27-year-old man and 49-year-old woman are still being treated as unexplained.

Their bodies were discovered at a detached house on Hill Street at around 10.30am on Thursday.

Although causes of death have not yet been established, police have ruled out anyone else in connection with the investigation.

"Officers were called to a report of two deceased in an address on Hill Street on May 16.

"The deaths remain unexplained as the causes of death are yet to be established."

Forensics teams at the house

Forensic teams were still examining the house on Friday, while local officers have been patrolling the area to reassure residents.

The identities of the man and woman not yet been released but their next of kin have been informed.

On Friday lead investigator Detective Inspector Cheryl Hannan thanked the local community for their patience as her team worked to establish how they both died.
